General Description: Our client a leading travel brand is seeking an experienced GM who will be responsible for the strategic direction of its product offering.
Job Description:
You will lead growth initiatives to deliver challenging 3 year plans for volume and profit and deliver the customer led product at the optimum price to the market as quickly as possible as well as establishing new commercial initiatives in order to maximise profitability. Experience of financial modeling, revenue management, pricing is required combined with an exceptional awareness of the market place and competitors within. You will and excellent communicator and influencer with strong negotiation skills and constantly drive for change and innovation. To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience of operating at a senior management level with appropriate experience of strategic thinking, managing teams and project management. Whilst this is an initial 12 month contract, this is no care taking role and successful candidates will be required to hit the floor running in this fast paced environment. Travel Industry experience preferably gained from within a Tour Operator essential.
