We"re looking for an ambitious Customer Service Agent specialising in Groups to join our Customer Service team.

Job Description:
The role will be focused on selling and servicing group bookings on our airline partners booked through travel organisations or direct consumers via the telephone, email or website.
We are looking for a talented person to manage these bookings effectively, focus on increasing the conversion of groups requests and provide a friendly and efficient service to external and internal customers.

* To service all Groups enquiries and bookings to company standards
* To adhere to all airline deadlines and terms and conditions
* To understand agents / operators flight needs and advise on appropriate solutions
* To manage profit margins for each Group booking

Tasks & Responsibilities:
These include, but are not limited to:
* Monitor and action all email and telephone requests for Group bookings
* Carry out the above in line with set company service level standards in a friendly and professional manner
* Use Amadeus to check flight schedules
* Use Amadeus to manage and ticket bookings where applicable
* Use industry knowledge and initiative to choose best airlines to approach to meet client"s requirements
* Make sound commercial decisions on margins and pricing on a booking by booking basis
* Work on own initiative without constant supervision
* Keep on top of all airline deadlines for deposits, balance payments, names and ticketing
* Ensure payments are received from clients in good time to meet deadlines
* Follow up quotes by telephone or email
* Form close ties with Groups staff within airline partners to strengthen relationships

Skills range:
* Groups experience preferable but not essential
* Experience working with Amadeus desirable
* Deliver an efficient and professional service to Alternative Airlines" customers
* Keep accurate records and filing system both computer and hard copy resources
* Maintain high levels of accuracy
