Paris Hilton's younger brother Conrad has appeared in court after allegedly threatening to kill British Airways' crew members on a flight from London.
Hilton was allegedly in a temper for most of the flight to Los Angeles, pacing the aisles and calling other passengers 'f***ing peasants'.
The great-grandson of the Hilton Hotel's founder, also called Conrad Hilton, accused one passenger of 'giving him a stink-eye', before threatening to kill and bury a member of the cabin crew.
He allegedly grabbed a flight attendant by the shirt and said: "I could get you all fired in five minutes. I know your boss. My father will pay this out, he has done it before. Dad paid $300,000 last time."
Hilton was allegedly upset following his breakup with a girlfriend. Court documents state that his behaviour frightened passengers on Flight 269 to LA on July 31 last year, even causing a child to cry. Cabin crew restrained him after he fell asleep.
Appearing in court in LA in shackles, he was charged with interfering with flight crew. If found guilty, he could face up to 20 years in prison, but he has yet to enter a plea. He was released on bail of £65,000.
