Nutley retires from WTM parent

Tom Nutley is to retire from Reed Travel Exhibitions after more than 25 years as chairman and take up a new part-time role.

He is to take the consultancy position of non-executive president of the organisation from April.

RTE managing director Richard Mortimore is to step up.

Nutley was prised by RTE CEO Alastair Gornall for his 'huge contribution' including responsibility for developing 14 new exhibitions as well as establishing the success of World Travel Market in London.

RTE founder Nutley became the company's first chairman five years ago.
