Libra says business will continue as usual after acquisition of Argo and JetLife


Libra Holidays Limited has confirmed that it is to acquire the brand names and trading of Argo and JetLife.

It said the completion of the purchase is expected to take place within the next few weeks.

"Pending completion, Argo Holidays Limited will continue to take bookings as agent for Libra Holidays Limited and business will continue as usual in regards to taking customer bookings both with Libra and Argo/Jetlife," said a statement today.

Eamonn Ferrin, interim CEO for Libra, added: 'I am delighted to have acquired the Argo and Jetlife brands and look forward to further developing these brands and the new Libra business for the future.'
