A Ãpound;5 million facelift of the Heathrow/Windsor Marriott has been completed in time for the March 27 opening of Heathrow Terminal 5.
The upgrade for the property ââ¬' 10 minutes from the new terminal by Junction 5 of the M4 - is part of a Ãpound;120 million ââ¬ÅâNip & Tuckââ¬~ programme to revamp 38 hotels around the country.
The Heathrow/Windsor upgrade has involved the creation of a new look and feel for its 382 rooms, ballroom and public areas.
A new lobby, new Brasserie-style restaurant and Chatââ¬â¢s CafÃ~© Bar complete the work.
The hotelââ¬â¢s sales and marketing director Ruth Taylor said: ââ¬ÅâThis investment has made the hotel an ideal international meetings venue for any event requiring a hotel with outstanding facilities, excellent service and good connections. We are the perfect choice for any event that has delegates travelling internationally.ââ¬~
