Tickets have gone on sale for the first scheduled flights from Dundee to Birmingham operated by Loganair.
The route, which will be introduced on May 21, marks the beginning of an expansion drive that will see the Scottish airline introduce more and new services from Dundee airport in the coming years.
Three return flights will run on weekdays as well as an evening Sunday service. Tickets starts at Ãpound;35 one way.
Loganair also plans a new route between Dundee and Belfast on May 21 but is awaiting slot approval at Belfast City Airport before releasing tickets for sale.
Details of the new links follow an announcement by the airline in January that it is to create a new base at Dundee airport as part of a franchise agreement with Flybe.
Loganairââ¬â¢s two new routes will operate under the Flybe banner ahead of the franchise arrangement between the two companies, which starts on October 25.
Loganair chief executive Peter Tierney said: ââ¬ÅâThe Midlands and Tayside are very important markets for us and having listened to our customers, we have decided to take this step of introducing a new route to a key destination.ââ¬~
