Radisson SAS makes wifi move

Non-resident delegates attending meetings at Radisson SAS properties will now be able to use hotel wifi services for free.

In a bid to entice the MICE crowd, business travellers will be handed a day pass at reception at any of the hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which allows them to get connected.

The group was the first international hotel chain to offer free high-speed internet access to residents

Rezidor vice president marketing and customer relationship John Kennedy said: "We have a long commitment to being among the first to anticipate the needs of business travellers.

"Getting connected to their corporate networks, checking emails or downloading documents is important to our meeting guests, and we are now offering a complimentary and easy-to-use service to all of them ââ¬' even if they donââ¬â¢t have a room reservation and are just visiting us for the day."
