Teletext has launched a mobile internet portal which allows customers to browse through thousands of holidays, destination guides, and up to date holiday weather information using a WAP enabled mobile phone.
The launch follows the success of its teletextmobile.co.uk mobile internet service which was launched in 2006.
The new service, called Holidays, has been developed by Eagle Eye Technology and uses existing Teletext web technology.
Gary Merry, head of product, Teletext Holidays said: ââ¬ÅâEvery day millions of people use our TV and Online services to find a holiday and now those customers that are mobile users can access our service on the move.ââ¬~
