Michael Tokuru, General Manager Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau said, ââ¬ÅâœThis news is another win for the Solomon Islands. Now the travel warning from Australia has been downgraded because of our political stability being recognized, 2008 should show even further improvement in growth. There are also increased air services to the Solomon Islands from Australia and an increase in hotel beds.ââ¬~

He said, ââ¬ÅâœTravellers are now discovering that the Solomons are truly somewhere different."

"They're discovering that the Solomon Islands is a true piece of paradise just over two hours from Brisbane."
