Former Carlson Wagonlit Travel European boss Richard Lovell is to become chairman of British Airwaysââ¬â¢ Global Travel Advisory Board.
The panel is made up of 23 high profile travellers across a variety of markets.
Its role is to assess the airlineââ¬â¢s potential new products and services and provide market feedback from the travellerââ¬â¢s perspective.
Prior to his retirement earlier in the year, Lovell was president for CWT in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
BAââ¬â¢s UK and global corporate sales general manager Richard Tams said: "We are delighted to welcome Richard as the new chairman of the Global Travel Advisory Board.
"We set the board up to tap into the experience and knowledge of our frequent travellers. Their advice enables us to shape our business and provide the best service for our customers."
Lovell is a former president of the Institute of Travel & Tourism and ex-chairman of the Guild of Travel Management Companies.
