Italian cruise line MSC Cruises has named a former airline director managing director for the UK and Ireland.
Giulio Libutti has taken over the role from Claudia Baino, who held the position for two years.
Prior to joining MSC Cruises, his most recent post was a director of Italian airline Airone, based in Rome, working on a proposed merger with Alitalia.
Libutti has worked with multinational companies in the aeronautical and energy fields for more than 20 years.
He was responsible for the implementation of the Alitalia and KLM merger process in Latin America.
Libutti has also worked in the US, Argentina, Japan, Spain, Peru, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
