New Biarritz route for easyJet

A Gatwick to Biarritz service has been launched today (Friday) by easyJet.

The airline will fly four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

It expects to carry 10,000 passengers on the new route in the first 12 months of operation.

Tickets start at Ã&#pound;43.60 return, including taxes.

The airlineââ¬â¢s UK country manager David Osborne said:  ââ¬ÅâœBiarritz is already a popular destination from other easyJet bases and now travellers from Gatwick have the opportunity to explore one of the most popular destinations on the west coast of France.

ââ¬ÅâœForward bookings for the route have been strong, which further proves the demand for affordable flights to the sun this summer."
