Marriott has promoted Neal Jones to vice president of global sales for the UK, Ireland and continental Europe.
He replaces John Licence who has taken up a new role in the groupââ¬â¢s Caribbean and Latin America region.
Jones moves up from his previous position as market director ââ¬' London sales.
In his new role, he will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to both global sales office operations, located in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Moscow, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland and Milan as well as the network of over 40 general sales agents throughout Continental Europe.
Jones, who joined Marriott in 1995 as a senior account manager, said: ââ¬ÅâI will, along with my leadership team, be developing strategic sales and marketing solutions across all revenue streams, insuring continued market share growth and driving superior business results and customer preference.ââ¬~
