EasyJet backs leukaemia charity

EasyJet passengers will  be asked to donated loose change to leukaemia charity The Anthony Nolan Trust this summer.

The carrier has already raised Ã&#pound;1.3 million for the charity from on board collections in the past two summers.

The funding has enabled the charity to recruit approximately 18,000 new lifesaving donors to the bone marrow register.

Collections will take place on all flights starting from today (Monday) until September 26.

A proportion of the money raised will be given to other bone marrow registers in Europe.

England Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood today launched the appeal.
