Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is pleased to announce its recognition on Travel + Leisureââ¬â¢s prestigious Worldââ¬â¢s Best Awards for Top 10 Small Cruise Lines.
These prestigious awards are judged by the magazineââ¬â¢s subscribers who rated cruise lines on criteria such as cabins, food, service, itineraries/destinations, activities and value.
The list will be published in the August 2008 edition of the magazine.
Paul McGrath, managing director of Uniworld said, ââ¬ÅâWe are absolutely delighted at this recognition by one of the worldââ¬â¢s leading travel magazines, Travel + Leisure. This is further acknowledgment that we are delivering the ultimate river cruise experience to our guests.
ââ¬ÅâWe have really focused on perfecting the entire guest experience by concentrating on exquisite food using only the freshest produce, luxurious onboard amenities, interesting and well-planned shore excursions and immaculate service delivery.
ââ¬ÅâIt is extremely rewarding to see these efforts have paid off and that travellers are recognising the extremely high standard of product that Uniworld offers.ââ¬~
As further recognition of the fantastic quality of the overall experience offered by Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, the company was also named on the Top 15 Tour Operators and Safari Outfitters by Travel + Leisure.
This recognition comes hot on the heels of Uniworldââ¬â¢s recent inclusion on CondÃ~© Nast Travelerââ¬â¢s Gold List.
Uniworld has just released the 2009 Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, featuring 30 cruises, including six new itineraries that enable travellers to explore central and Eastern Europe, France, Portugal and Spain, Russia and Egypt, along with enjoying festive season cruises that are focused around Europeââ¬â¢s spectacular Christmas markets.
For the 2009 season, Uniworld has a new vessel ââ¬' the lavishly appointed River Beatrice, a magnificent addition to the fleet featuring hotel-style beds, indulgent amenities, plush sheets and towels and French balconies. Uniworld also introduced the Epicurean Adventurer Program to a range of its cruises in 2009. This new range of gourmet activities, offered at no additional cost to clients, includes private wine tastings, culinary demonstrations and special food and wine pairing dinners.
