VisitBritain has appointed Laurence Bresh as its regional director for Europe.
Bresh, formerly the organisationââ¬â¢s general manager for marketing England, will now oversee operations at 18 European offices.
Said Bresh: ââ¬ÅâIââ¬â¢m absolutely delighted to have been offered this role. Our European region still accounts for half of the incremental spend VisitBritain delivers for the UK. There are some exciting prospects ahead for inbound tourism in both mature and emerging markets and I look forward to working closely with our excellent European team, as well as the industry and the tourist boards across Britainââ¬~.
Bresh was responsible for the England Rocks! And Storybook England campaigns and also managed VisitBritainââ¬â¢s tourist information strategy and the development of the site enjoyEngland.com
