Ryanair is to launch a three times weekly service from London Luton to Biarritz.
It is estimated that the low cost carrierââ¬â¢s new route will bring a further 40,000 people a year through the airport.
The carrier will start flying to the South of France destination on November 4.
Ryanair sales and marketing manager Bridget Dowling said: ââ¬ÅâThis new route to Biarritz means that passengers will have an additional link to Europe from Luton. Weââ¬â¢re confident that the route will prove just as successful as our recently-announced routes to Derry, Szczecin, Kaunas, Trapani (Sicily), Rzeszow and Beziers.ââ¬~

I've been holidaying in the region for 20 years. Largely unmolested by Brits. Now, in the space of two weeks, Ryanair adds Luton to Biarritz and Easyjet adds a Gatwick service. Whatever you do, don't go to the bull fighting at Dax.
