Orbitz postpones quarterly results

Orbitz Worldwide, the parent company of ebookers, has delayed the announcement of  its quarterly financial performance due today (Monday).

Results from the US-based online travel company are now due to be released on Thursday.

Orbitz said the postponement was ââ¬Åâœbecause  the companyââ¬â¢s financial statements have not been finalisedââ¬~.

No further explanation was given.

The figures which were due to be issued today were for the second quarter of the companyââ¬â¢s financial year, the three months ending on June 30.
