Air travellers departing and arriving at Stansted could face disruption to their journeys on Thursday ahead of a threatened strike by baggage handlers.
The handlers claim security scanning company Airfield Services used catering staff to check luggage during a walk-out over the bank holiday weekend over pay issues and now plan to walk out again this week.
GMB union general secretary Paul Kenny made the claim about Airfield Services but the company said ââ¬Åâall staff had the appropriate training and accreditation.ââ¬~
