Self-catering operator Hoseasons has started offering UK city breaks in apartments.
Prices for two-night weekend stays in London start at Ãpound;95 a night. Rates in Edinburgh for stays this month lead in at Ãpound;67 a night.
Other cities offering apartment accommodation include Aberdeen, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham.
The operator claims the rates are lower per person than an equivalent four or five-star hotel but offer more flexibility.
The apartments feature kitchens and are described as being family friendly.
