Rachel Finn has quit Virgin Atlantic after 18 years to join Qatar Airways.
She becomes UK area manager based in London for the Middle East carrier.
Finn was promoted to head of global and multinational account management by Virgin last year having held a a number of sales and marketing roles.
At Qatar she will be responsible for the airlineââ¬â¢s growing UK operation, overseeing teams based in London and Manchester.
The airlineââ¬â¢s UK schedule includes four daily flights from Heathrow and a daily service from Gatwick and Manchester.
Qatarââ¬â¢s South and West Europe regional manager Brett McDougall said: ââ¬ÅâWith 42 flights a week connecting to over 80 destinations via our Doha hub, the UK is a key market for Qatar Airways.
"We are confident that Rachelââ¬â¢s extensive experience will prove invaluable to both the UK team and the airline.ââ¬~
