Future switches conference from Canaries to UK

Homeworking company Future Travel is to stage its annual conference in Manchester rather than the Canary Islands.

The event had been planned to take place in Tenerife at the end of October.

But it has been rescheduled after ââ¬Åâœgiving careful consideration to the impact of the XL failure, including contingency planning for any potential further disruption,ââ¬~ the company said.

The conference will now be held at the headquarters of The Co-operative Group in central Manchester on November 12-13. Future Travel is part of The Co-operative Travel.

Head of Future Travel Sheena Darby said: ââ¬ÅâœOur number one priority is to provide excellent customer service, and to ensure that our homeworkers are available to their clients during these uncertain times.

ââ¬ÅâœWe have had wonderful support from both our homeworkers and our suppliers, who both endorse the change to a UK venue, and we are looking forward immensely to what will be a fantastic event.ââ¬~
