TUIââ¬â¢s mega brands Thomson and First Choice have produced their first advertising campaign together to reassure the public about buying travel following the demise of XL.
The advert will show agents in a high street shop telling punters that they will help anyone with travel issues no matter who they booked it through. The aim is clear ââ¬' to establish TUI as a market leader in these financially insecure times.
The ad, which will highlight both brands, will run in between such high profile TV shows as X Factor, Celebair and The Bill, both on terrestrial and satellite channels.
Head of brand strategy at TUI Andrew Laurillard said: ââ¬ÅâThere is a general sense of unease among holiday-makers and people are confused about whether they are protected. It is essential that we are there to help, and part of that is reassuring people with practical advice as regards their holiday plans during this period of uncertainty.ââ¬~
