Continental Airlines has reduced the price of its helicopter transfers from New York Newark to Manhattan from Ãpound;64 to Ãpound;26 each way.
The price does not include passenger facility charges of up to Ãpound;11 per segment, September 11th security fee of up to Ãpound;3 each way, or Federal excise tax of Ãpound;2 per segment.
It is available for economy-class customers travelling on select fares tickets purchased on or after September 1 for travel through to October 31.
In addition, Continental is offering a complimentary helicopter service to customers travelling on first-class and full-fare economy tickets.
US Helicopter flights operate hourly, from Monday to Friday from 7am to 7.50pm, connecting Continental's Terminal C at Liberty to the Downtown Manhattan Heliport near Wall Street and the East 34th Street Heliport in Midtown Manhattan.
The flight takes eight minutes and no advance purchase is required.
