Creative Holidays launches expanded Arabian Peninsula program

Creative Holidays has expanded its 2009 Arabian Peninsula program with a greater range of product on offer in Dubai and extended tours in Oman.

Boasting new and exclusive product, an increased range of city hotels, transfer options, sightseeing choices and more destination information, the 2009 Arabian Peninsular program is expected to be well received, both by Australian travellers and the trade.

The 2009 program includes dedicated sections on travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman as well as Mini Stay packages and unique independent touring itineraries in Oman.

Some of the key product and experiences on offer include Dubai beach accommodation, including the iconic Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach hotels, sunset sand dune camping and fantastic options to taste the wilderness, spectacularly diverse scenery and history of Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

New hotels featured for Dubai include the popular Grand Hyatt, Sheraton Dubai Creek, the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort right on Jumeirah beach and the Atlantis Palm recently opened and features its own theme waterpark. Abu Dhabi will now feature the Hilton Abu Dhabi located on the city and beach, Le Meridien and Sheraton including two new tours ââ¬' the Oasis Adventure and Starlight Express.

Andrew Yell, general manager, product, sales and marketing, Creative Holidays said, ââ¬ÅâœWe are pleased to be offering a dedicated 15 page brochure to this growing region which includes more Dubai and Muscat Abu Dhabi product".

ââ¬ÅâœWith increased coverage in the media Dubai and Oman has seen public awareness grow and we expect to see this trend continue. The continuation of excellent airline service to the region will see visitor numbers increase with Abu Dhabi emerging as the new place to visit.

ââ¬ÅâœWe recommend consultants encourage clients to see the Arabian Peninsular as more than a quick stopover, as two nights and a city tour just donââ¬â¢t do the region justice."

"Taking a city tour and desert experience is important, as is taking time to really soak up the history and culture of the region, before taking advantage of duty-free shopping in Dubai and Abu Dhabi."

ââ¬ÅâœTo get a real insight into the destination offer your clients a 10 or 12 day itinerary combining the UAE and Oman for an excellent stand alone holiday rather than a short stopover, and one that offers the diversity of cultures, scenery, history and more."

ââ¬ÅâœDubai is certainly the drawcard for the region at present, however, coverage of Dubai and increased passenger numbers is expected to offer Oman and Abu Dhabi greater leverage into the market, particularly with return visitors who may be looking for something different.ââ¬~
