Travel software and services provider Open Destinations has launched a new cruise module within its reservation system Travel Studio.
It is designed to provide ââ¬Ëone-stopââ¬â¢ bookings to save time and money for cruise lines, small ship cruise companies, specialist cruise agents and more general travel suppliers.
Cruises can be packaged or booked as cruise-only, adding in normal scheduled, charter, net fare and low cost flights using available net fares and allocations held in Travel Studio.
Further items such as pre- or post-cruise tours, shore excursions and ship credits can be added within the booking.
There is also an ability to book shared cabins and wait-list passengers
In addition, vessel, deck and even individual cabin information can be stored.
Open Destinations sales and marketing director Steve Lowe said: ââ¬ÅâThe ability to simplify the cruise reservations process is long overdue, and the easy access to information and ââ¬Ëone stopââ¬â¢ booking will undoubtedly improve customer service and sales conversions whilst increasing productivity for cruise suppliers.ââ¬~
