The line-up of entertainment at this yearââ¬â¢s British Travel Awards has been announced.
Scottish TV comic Frankie Boyle will be hosting proceedings on November 6 at the Battersea Evolution in London.
Guests can also expect live entertainment from American divas ââ¬' ââ¬ÅâThe Extreme Supremesââ¬~, plus dinner music from The London Banqueting Ensemble.
A guest appearance by ââ¬ÅâSignature ââ¬' Minimum 4 Starââ¬~, a Michael Jackson/Bollywood dance duo, runners-up in this yearââ¬â¢s hit TV show Britainââ¬â¢s Got Talent.
A DJ will keep guests dancing until the early hours and a late-licence will allow bars and the New Frontiers Champagne Chill Zone to operate until 02.30.
More companies than ever have booked tables and seats for the the British Travel Awards in association with Lloyds TSB Cardnet.
The Moran Hotel in Chiswick and The Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington are offering guests special room rates for the night.
GTA by Travelport will be operating a complimentary coach service to and from each hotel for guests staying overnight in London, as well as shuttles to and from Marble Arch and Victoria for those guests coming into London by train.
Journeypay, a Lloyds TSB Cardnet partner, will be operating a marshalled black-cab service from the venue on the night, and all taxis will take credit card payments for journeys.
Also new this year will be the announcement of silver-placed companies in each category.
BTAs CEO Lorraine Barnes Burton said: ââ¬ÅâThe number of consumer and trade votes each company received, and the percentage scores awarded by the BTA Academy across the specialist categories meant that the difference between first and second place for many of this yearââ¬â¢s awards was marginal.
ââ¬ÅâWe felt that those companies which had just missed out on pole-position should also be recognised for their outstanding achievements in the business.
ââ¬ÅâThe sheer work involved in completing the criteria forms for some of these categories should also be recognised ââ¬' particularly if that company also scored highly on the consumer voting table.ââ¬~
With just 21 category winners being presented with their trophies on stage, a further 51 will be presented in the Winners Enclosure in front of official photographers, TravelMole, Sky Travel and Real Lives TV crews and a broadcast team from LBC 97.3.
There are a few tables and seats left for the event. Enquiries to jeremy@britishtravelawards.com or visit http://www.britishtravelawards.com/ and click on the ââ¬ÅâAwards Nightââ¬~ tab.
