Royal Caribbean International has unveiled details of the final phase of its onboard facilities for Oasis of the Seas.
Half the size of Wembley Stadium, The Youth Zone is a new concept for infant, children and teenage travellers.
For infants and toddlers there will be a nursery, while for older children there will be a Crayola ââ¬ËImagination Studioââ¬â¢, science labs, theatre, and a kidââ¬â¢s arcade area.
Meanwhile, teens can hang out at the Fuel disco or in the ââ¬Ëmock-tailââ¬â¢ bar at The Living Room or learn to spin and mix music at the Scratch DJ Academy.
The Youth Zone is the last of seven new ââ¬Ëneighbourhoodââ¬â¢ concepts on board the ship, which is due to launch in November 2009 from Floeida on seven-night Caribbean itineraries.
These include Central Park, Boardwalk with the AquaTheater, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, the Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, and Entertainment Place.
Oasis of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship in the world with 16 decks, 220,000 gross registered tons, and carrying 5,400 passengers.
