Travel management company Chambers Travel Management has recruited former HRG head of client management Paul Broughton.
He becomes commercial director at the City of London-based company.
Broughton will head a 10-strong sales and business management team.
The sales team hass also been expanded from two to four with the appointment of Jane Worrow as UK sales director and Ann Green, now public sector sales director. They join Fiona Vandersluys, global sales and marketing director and sales manager Matthew Heymans.
The expanded team has signed Ãpound;2.5m of new business including one contract in the banking sector since last month.
Chambers CEO Chris Thelen said: ââ¬ÅâPaul will bring a great deal of experience to our sales and business management team, which has doubled in size in the last two years as a result of new business and successful rebids.
ââ¬ÅâThe senior management team is focussing on implementing our long-term strategy including forging new alliances and scoping out our ambitious technology initiatives.ââ¬~
Prior to HRG, Broughton was head of business development at the RAC and head of corporate sales at Europcar UK. He also held management positions in both sales and operations at Avis.
