Govan goes at Portman

Portman Travel marketing and development director Bob Govan has left the company due to ââ¬Åâœstrategic differencesââ¬~.

The travel management company issued a statement saying it is finalising terms of separation with Govan, who was a member of Portmanââ¬â¢s board.

It has appointed Peter Jones as group director of sales and marketing.

ââ¬ÅâœPeter is a very experienced manager, having a background of performing this role in various businesses including Reed Elsevier (Exhibitions), Procter & Gamble and Diageo amongst others,ââ¬~ said the statement.
