Agents are being given the ability to produce paperless e-vouchers for customers by Avis.
The car hire company has introduced the function across the Galileo, Sabre and Amadeus GDSs.
The move makes the rental process completely paperless allowing the customer to collect their vehicle without having to present a voucher or email to complete payment.
Avis business travel sales manager Lisa Eastwood said: ââ¬ÅâIt is great news that this paperless functionality is available to all agents.
ââ¬ÅâTMCs, leisure agents and corporates can now book car rental really easily and it is our objective to make the booking process as hassle-free and simple as possible for both agent and customer.
ââ¬ÅâPaperless e-vouchers also support Avisââ¬â¢ strong environmental policy and we are pleased to passing this ethos onto our clients.ââ¬~
