Northwest drops Heathrow-Seattle route

Northwest Airlines is to terminate flights introduced earlier this year between Heathrow and Seattle.

The service, run in joint venture with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as part of the US-EU open skies agreement, will be withdrawn from January 8

ââ¬ÅâœPassengers holding reservations will be offered alternate flights via Amsterdam or Minneapolis St. Paul,ââ¬~ a statement from Northwest said.

ââ¬ÅâœTicketed passengers may also choose to receive a full refund.ââ¬~
