The scale of Dubai was actually somethign that quite amazed me, with travelling from the airport to the Marina area taking around an hour - and I thought Dubai ws quite compact.
Nevertheless, it is a great city or emirate and the Marina area is one of the areas to be in Dubai, with many expats living in the many apartments and villas surrounding the water with Emirates Harbour Hotel and Residence tower located right at the heart of the area, and the famous architectural masterpiece of Dubai, Burj Al Arab on one side and in the distance at the end of the Palms development, the brand spanking new Atlantis hotel, perched over the ocean.
It is always great to meet the people that work in these stunning hotel properties and TravelMole took the opportunity to chat with the Executive Chef of the Emirates Dubai Harbour Hotel and Residence, pom Christopher Baker - now he can cook!
