Advantage agents gain activities supplier

Advantage Travel Centres has signed up operator Activities Abroad as an exclusive trade partner.

The operator will support Advantage agents with marketing and promotional activity.

The firm specialises in activity holidays from rafting in Slovenia to zip-wiring in the Costa Rican rainforests.

The company has also joined Advantage’s Winter Sports Specialist initiative offering husky safaris and Northern Lights active holidays in Lapland.

Advantage chief executive John McEwan said: "This exclusive tie-up enables our members to offer these activity holidays that are not otherwise available on the high street, giving us the edge over the competition in a market which ideally suits the independent travel agent."

Activities Abroad managing director Alistair McLean said: "Being independently owned in the UK, we were keen to work with like-minded agents when looking to sell our holidays through the travel trade. Advantage was therefore the ideal partner."
