Ryanair passenger numbers grew 18% in 2008 over 2007, according to its latest figures.
The airline carried 4.4 million passengers in December, an 11% increase over December 2007.
August was Ryanairââ¬â¢s busiest month with over 5.7million passengers flying with the airline.
In order to encourage more passengers to fly with it, Ryanair has launched one million Ãpound;5 seats, available for booking on its website until Sunday midnight, for travel in January, February and March.
