Former Elegant Resorts managers launch new luxury brand

Two former directors at Elegant Resorts are launching a new luxury travel company next week.

Former commercial director Paul Beacall and finance director Jon Clee say their new venture, Eden Collection, is about "luxury without compromise".

Eden managing director Paul Beacall said: "For some time now we’ve been aware that there’s a need for a new concept in luxury travel which is contemporary, informal and, most of all, about meeting client needs."

He said the intention is to offer transparency in all aspects of luxury travel, from the price negotiated with industry partners to the reviews of their destinations and recommendations to clients.

"In the current economic climate clients will be even more discerning and demanding of the best when they travel," he added.

The destinations being featured on a tailor-made basis are the Caribbean, North America, Europe, Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean, Asia and Australasia.
