UK Cruise Convention business sessions announced

A strong focus on helping agents grow their cruise business and supporting those new to cruise will feature at this year’s UK Cruise Convention.

A quarter of the 450 delegate places have already been filled for the event which takes place in Dover on June 17-19.

Organised by the Association of Cruise Experts, details of business sessions have now been announced.

They will focus heavily on helping agents grow their cruise business and supporting those agents new to cruise.

For the first time, specific sectors in the cruise industry, such as river cruising and luxury cruising, will be given their own masterclasses.

Other sessions include ‘Are you ready for change?’, ‘Getting the most from groups’ and ‘Ask the experts’. There will also be a debate on ‘the future of cruising’.

ACE is also introducing three new online training courses in February - Costa Cruises, Windstar and ‘How body language can increase your cruises sales’.

This brings the total number of training courses to more than 100.

The ACE 2009 ship visit programme includes new ports, including Douglas, Invergordon, Cardiff and Guernsey.
