Rock Insurance has purchased affinity marketing specialist, AIS, as part of its plan to expand into new markets.
AIS founder Terry Martin will join Rock Insurance and will continue to manage the AIS affinity business growth.
Rock managing director Antony Martin said: ââ¬ÅâRock has provided AIS with insurance products and fulfillment services for the past 13 months and in this time we have gained a good understanding of the possibilities that exist for Rock within the affinity marketing arena.
ââ¬ÅâThe addition of AIS to Rockââ¬â¢s existing portfolio of products will be of particular benefit to customers with large databases where we can apply these skills to generate additional travel insurance sales from our travel customers.ââ¬~
Rock said it is currently considering a number of other potential acquisitions as part of its growth strategy in 2009 and beyond.
