Future Travelââ¬â¢s specialist cruise division, Instant Cruise Holidays, has reported that its post-Christmas sales are up by 40% year-on-year, with an increase in margin of 0.5%.
General manager Fay Thompson said there has been a rise in luxury sales, particularly with Silversea.
ââ¬ÅâWith an average booking value of Ãpound;8,263, it is great to have this business,ââ¬~ she said.
ââ¬ÅâThe highest value booking we've made was with Silversea atÃpound;21,159 for two people.
ââ¬ÅâThe lates market is strong with 57% of sales coming from bookings up to the end of April, although weââ¬â¢ve seen fewer families booking for summer. The feedback is that they will book nearer the time.
ââ¬ÅâMeanwhile, the ââ¬Ëgrey poundââ¬â¢ is very strong with an increase in older couples booking.ââ¬~
