Egencia unveils tool to help businesses survive recession

Egencia has launched a free programme to help corporates weather the recession.

Available to clients and non-clients, the online analytics tool will help identify the health of a company’s travel programme and prescribe a regime to improve it.

In conjunction with the analysis of an Egencia consultant, the tool will assess components like TMC fees, online adoption, travel policy compliance and supplier partnerships.

In the last year, the Expedia-owned company claims it has helped companies realise millions of Euros in cost savings.

"We're hoping businesses across Egencia's global footprint, including our most recent European points of sale in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Ireland, will take advantage of this timely offering," said Christophe Pingard, senior vice president of Europe.
