Advantage strengthens cruise sales support

Advantage Travel Centres is beefing up its cruise sales support by appointing a dedicated cruise product manager.

Jason Peters will support the consortium on a consultancy basis as well as running his own specialist cruise travel agency which he set up five years ago.

Commercial director Julia Lo Bue-Said said: "As we commit to supporting members in the cruise arena, Jason will lead the push to provide them with the best deals and incentives in the market coupled with training, marketing and day to day contact.

"We are confident that having Jason on board and the plans we have in place, will enable members to improve their cruise selling skills and in turn increase their overall share of cruise sales."

Peters, who previously worked for Princess Cruises as a customer service officer, said: "This is an exciting new challenge for me where I can use my extensive knowledge of the cruise market and my passion for the product to help Advantage members reap the considerable rewards that are available."
