Youtravel.com is to distribute its beach hotel content to agents through the Galileo Leisure portal.
The accommodation-only specialist has signed a pan-European deal with Travelport GDS to make the content available from tomorrow (February 19).
The new content will initially be offered in the UK, France and Italy with plans to expand to Galileo Leisure users in other countries in Europe and the Middle East.
Users of the portal will be able to make, cancel and amend bookings online as well as make use youtravel.com services including in-resort representation and pre and post-departure customer services.
Olaf Gueldner, Travelport GDS’s new managing director and president, Europe, said: "We are always looking for new ways to help our agency customers increase their revenue streams at a time of reduced commissions.
"Now our agency customers using the Galileo Leisure portal will have access to youtravel.com’s extensive beach resort content as well as the city hotel content provided by GTA."
Youtravel group managing director Graham Nichols said: "I am delighted to have signed this deal with Travelport GDS. It is another step in cementing our position as a truly pan-European accommodation-only provider."
