SINGAPORE - The Reed Travel and Meetings Group has closed two of its travel trade titles in Asia.
In a statement to advertisers, Reed said, ââ¬ÅâDue to the very difficult economic climate, it is with regret that TravelWeekly and Events will cease publication.
ââ¬ÅâHowever, we are continuing with TravelWeeklyChina due to the strong continued support from readers and advertisers in the China travel market.
ââ¬ÅâTravelWeeklyChina will focus on e-broadcast and e-products in 2009 to provide marketing services for the travel industry in the most cost effective medium."
There have been some redundancies as a result of the closure.
