Ryanair to start new Stansted route

Ryanair is to serve its 107th destination from Stansted with the start of flights to Bavaria.

The airline is to serve Memmingen, which it describes as 'West Munich', with ten flights a week from May 1 at a lead-in price of £10 one-way including taxes and charges.

This new service will deliver more than 140,000 additional passengers through Stansted, the airline estimates.

"Memmingen Airport is a great low cost alternative to Munich Airport, where Ryanair will offer passengers the guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges," a spokeswoman said.
