New East Midlands routes from Ryanair

Ryanair will add two new routes from East Midlands Airport in July to Reus and Palma.

Both flights will operate three times a week.

But it will close its East Midlands to Paris (Beauvais) route from July to accommodate the new routes.

To launch the flights, it is releasing one million seats on sale for just £10 for travel across Europe in April, May and June.

Meanwhile, Ryanair, has confirmed that it will be unable to operate scheduled flights to/from Paris (Beauvais) between the June 3-10 inclusive as the airport closes for one week to upgrade its landing systems.

The upgrade will enable more Ryanair flights to land safely in adverse weather conditions.

The airline apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused by the closure and said it will contact all affected passengers via email to offer them alternative flights or a full refund.

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said: "These essential upgrade works will benefit all passengers in the long-term and will help to ensure that Ryanair passengers suffer fewer adverse weather related disruptions on flights to/from Paris (Beauvais)."
