Marriott opens Twickenham hotel

Marriott Hotels has opened a 156-room full service hotel at Twickenham Stadium.

The hotel is integrated within the rugby stadium and has 12 suites including six with pitch-views, named after six Grand Slam-winning England Captains.

Special opening rates at the hotel for a standard room start from £125 room only, per night.

Contemporary interiors were designed by hotel industry specialists Richmond International incorporating granite, wood, glass, steel and marble effect

In-room facilities include work areas, 32-inch flat screen televisions, featuring Setanta and Sky Sports 1, 2& 3 and Setanta Sports and high speed internet access.

Hotel guests will also have use of the adjacent Virgin Active Classic Health Club when it opens in autumn 2009.
