Business Travel Market, the new business travel event taking place from June 17-18 at London’s ExCeL, has made three key appointments.
Betty Low, former editorial director of magazine Business Travel World, will be producing the conference programme with the support of an advisory board.
Nikki Stimson has been appointed head of marketing, running promotions to the UK business community and focusing on the SME market.
She formerly held senior roles at Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Cendant and Forte Hotels.
Meanwhile, Ida Ofori of Smart Event will be running the telemarketing element for hosted buyers.
In her previous role at Reed Exhibitions, she headed up the ILTM VIP hosted buyer programme.
Paul Robin, Business Travel Market event director and founder, said: "To have such notable industry figures working with us is brilliant news.
"We are working together to produce a very different event that will produce meaningful meetings and make the best possible use of two days out of the office.’
