Emirates is to open a 8,500 square feet executive lounge at Manchester Airport in late summer.
The airline said the move will help prepare for further growth of its current twice-daily service to Dubai and destinations beyond.
In preparation for the opening, Emirates will be switching its flights into Manchester Airportââ¬â¢s Terminal One from June 1. Its services currently operate to and from Terminal Two.
This means it will be able to fly its flagship A380 from the airport.
Emirates senior vice president, commercial operations Europe Salem Obaidalla said: ââ¬ÅâOur Manchester services have continued to be one of our strongest operations from the UK, holding up even in the tough times we are working through now.
ââ¬ÅâSo weââ¬â¢re particularly delighted that we can reward our premium passengers with the facilities of what we are sure will be the finest lounge at the airport.ââ¬~
