Air Namibia has suspended its two direct flights between London Gatwick and Windhoek until further notice.
It blamed the decision on the economic downturn which has hit demand.
Operations will be suspended from June 3.
The airline said it will continue to operate five flights per week from Frankfurt and its connections to Namibia and other Southern Africa destinations like Johannesburg and Cape Town.
"The airline wishes to assure all passengers and associates affected by this suspension that it will make every effort to offer alternatives for our valued customers," said a statement.
"Air Namibia will also maintain its current presence in the UK via its local office and sales team for the future development of the UK market."
